A lot of platforms keep saying that the community controls them but I noticed that this is partly true because the problem is that many voters dont really have anything at risk if the decision goes badly. That is where things usually go wrong.

I'm here to deliver how Stonfi is solving this!

STAKING STON GIVES YOU VOTING POWER!

Now, as a daily user of stonfi, when you stake STON, you get ARKENSTON in return. This is the non-transferable token that's stuck to your wallet, and it is what you use to vote inside the protocol.

If you agree with me, someone who stakes tokens and uses the system is more likely to care about the platformโ€™s long term results (or as you understand it, the platforms FUTURE).

They're the ones who can and will feel the impact of any bad decisions more directly but someone who just votes casually won't feel s***.

Meaning people with something at risk should have more say than people with nothing at risk.

THIS APPROACH HAS A DISADVANTAGE!

As it is with and in the crypto arena, big token holders have more power than smaller holders (like me).

What I mean is, if someone stakes 10,000 STON, they have more voting power than someone staking 200 STON. That problem exists in many crypto platforms, making this StonFi approach not solving the core problem at all.

Still, compared with systems where people can borrow voting power for a short time and have no real commitment, staking is a better start. Because it blocks one of the easiest ways governance can be abused.

WRAPPING IT ALL,

Staking STON gives you ARKENSTON, and ARKENSTON lets you vote. The rewards and the voting power are tied together on purpose.

That is the whole point.

Do your own research on this.
